Studio Practice: New Work

Here are some lovely new pieces. I am busy as a bee in my “studio” aka the dining room whipping out new ink works.

I’m trying to work with acrylic based ink now. I’m not really liking the result, I’m very particular about the nature of the “bleeding” These needed extra lines and definition to keep them from looking bad. Laquer based inks are no longer on the table, they look too “stringy”. I guess I need to go get my old standby, Dr. PH Martin’s Red India Ink.
